Both the committee and I were impressed from the beginning with your spiritual emphasis on mission, but little did we know how much that emphasis would change the entire picture. The seeds of this remarkable change were planted when the Administrative Council heard your presentation on mission and began studying the community and looking realistically at our current ministries.
