John Butler has been a true blessing to Creekside. He helped us realize God’s vision for this church by providing practical experience and spiritual guidance during the most important expansion this church has ever had! Just as if this were his own church, he showed true passion for every detail. It was obvious that this was much more than a job to John. This is his passion for growing Gods Kingdom! He became part of the Creekside family and for that, we are all blessed!
– Steve Whitley, Building Committee Chair, Community Ministries Board
John Butler has been a delight to work with. His sense of humor and wise analysis during difficult decisions certainly made the building process less stressful. He was there helping with every minor detail. The Aslan Group and particularly John Butler have truly opened the doors of our church to the whole community. We will be forever grateful for what he has done.
– Carol Godfrey, Building Committee, Community Ministries Board
John Butler and The Aslan Group were and continue to be a very critical part of Creekside's new Community Ministry strategy. Without John Butler and his passion to serve, his experience, understanding and determination I seriously doubt our new ministries would have had near the impact that we're seeing today. John's attention to detail and general understanding of the opportunity to impact our community for Jesus Christ were a breath of fresh wind in our church. What he helped us accomplish will have an eternal impact on many families, the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with our community is what we should all be about. Thanks John, you're a blessing!
- Joe Baker, Community Ministries Board Chair
John Butler handled this project with wisdom, discernment, integrity and unprecedented perseverance. I didn’t even mention gently working with all the myriad of personalities and agendas presented to him by staff and board members. That took true southern grit and the qualities of an officer and a gentleman. We are very grateful for the year he spent with us and look forward to all that God is going to do on this land and in this place.
- Patty Waterhouse, Executive Director of Family and Community Ministries
